Не смотря на то, что автомобиль в Израиле ― недешёвое удовольствие, здесь ими активно пользуются, поэтому заправок тоже полно. Не скажу, что специально их фотографировала, но кое-что всё-таки попало в кадр. Так как я сама автомобилист, то эта тема мне вдвойне интересна на самом деле.

Хотя, казалось бы, что можно интересного заметить в организации заправок? Когда они цивильные ― ничего. Но здесь они цивильные все. Бензин на них продаётся с довольно высоким октановым числом ― от 95 и выше. Дизель, конечно, тоже есть (куда ж без него в стране, по которой полно фур катается?). При этом стоимость топлива высокая. За «95-ый» берут по нашим деньгам под 100 рублей ― при таких ценах поневоле о малолитражках задумаешься.

Кстати, что касается гибридов, то они, во-первых, и так очень дорогие (в Израиле так ещё дороже, чем везде), и, во-вторых, как показала практика, это весьма непрактичные машины и с точки зрения производства (производство аккумуляторов гораздо токсичнее производства бензина), и с точки зрения эксплуатации (аккумуляторы долго не живут и их регулярно приходится менять), так что гибридов на дорогах здесь немного. Учитывая, сколько здесь солнца, можно было бы придумать какие-нибудь машины на солнечных батареях... правда, здесь мы опять упираемся в проблему аккумуляторов. Собственно говоря, именно поэтому пока весь мир катается на нефтепродуктах.

Что касается нефтепереработки, то, поскольку нефть пока импортная, то нет ничего удивительного в высокой стоимости топлива. Правда, говорят, на израильском шельфе нефть нашли, так что, возможно, в будущем будет полегче в этом вопросе.

Что для нас здесь примечательно? Бензин очень высокого качества, и на улицах от проезжающих мимо машин не смердит.  Заправки тут самые разные ― есть совсем небольшие, есть очень просторные, со множеством колонок. Заправщиков я не видела (на фото ниже их тоже нет ― возможно, мне просто не повезло). Заправки часто сопровождают всякого рода магазинчики ― в России теперь такое тоже встречается. Фирм несколько, так что есть своего рода конкуренция. Разумеется, заправки есть и в самих городах, и на выездах с населённых пунктов, и на трассах, конечно же. Впрочем, учитывая, какие здесь расстояния (всё-таки, Израиль страна маленькая), то здесь они буквально на каждом шагу, и при этом они не так часто нужны.

Despite the fact that a car in Israel is expensive, they are actively used here, so, there are also plenty of petrol stations. I won't say that I took pictures of them on purpose, but something still got into the frame. Actually, since I am a driver, this topic is doubly fascinating to me.

However, it would seem, what can be interesting to notice in the organization of petrol stations? In a case when they are civilized ― nothing. But they are all civilized here. Local petrol stations sell gasoline with a fairly high octane rating ― from 95 and above. Diesel fuel oil, of course, is also there (it needs too in a country, which full of trucks). The cost of fuel is high. 95th gasoline costs almost 100 Russian rubles (i.e. the cost is 2 times higher than in Russia). At such prices, you can't help but think about small cars.

By the way, as for hybrids, first of all, they are very expensive (in Israel, it is even more expensive than everywhere else). Secondly, as practice has shown, these are very impractical machines both from the point of view of production (the production of batteries is much more toxic than the production of gasoline), and from the point of view of operation (batteries do not live long, and they have to be changed regularly). Therefore, there are not many hybrids on the roads here. Considering how much sun there is here, it would be possible to come up with some solar-powered cars... however, here we again come to the problem of batteries. As a matter of fact, that is why the whole world is still driving on oil products.

As for oil refining, since oil is imported, there is nothing surprising in the high cost of fuel. However, they say that oil was found on the Israeli shelf, so, perhaps in the future, it will be easier in this matter.

What is remarkable for us here? There is very high quality petrol. And passing cars don't stink on the streets. Petrol stations here are very different ― there are very small, there are very spacious, with many pumps. I didn't see any pump jockeys (there aren't any in the photo below either ― maybe I was just unlucky). Petrol stations are often accompanied by all sorts of shops (in Russia now, this is also found). There are several petrol companies, so, there is a kind of competition. There are petrol stations in the cities, and at the exits from settlements, and on the highways, of course. However, given the distances here (after all, Israel is a small country), these stations are literally at every step here. And at the same time, they are not so often needed.
